| Rich tributes paid to Sher-e-Kashmir by students of Lawrence Public School | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 5: Today on the birth Anniversary of Sher-e-Kashmir, Sheikh Adbullah, students & staff of Lawrence Public School paid rich floral tributes in the school premises.
Students & teachers gathered in a special assembly to mark the birth anniversary of the Great Leader.
The students were informed about his contributions in the development of Jammu & Kashmir state & how his slogan of 'Hindu-Muslim-Sikh-Ithad' became the symbol of unity & amity in the state. Students were further informed that he was a farsighted person who was committed and launched several breaking initiatives to secure rapid all round development of the people of the State.
The teachers expressed their pride in informing the students that he too started his career as a school teacher & worked very hard making sacrifices during his fight for the cause and dignity of general people.
"His target was empowerment of common man and holistic development of the State. Later the students presented a colorful programme infront of the assembly.
