JAMMU, Dec 5: Shiv Sena and Dogra Front have threatened to gherao the private clinics being operated by some doctors in protest against their continuance with such a practice despite a ban imposed by J&K High Court.
Addressing a press conference here today, president Shiv Sena Ashok Gupta said that private practice of doctors has been banned by the J&K High Court, however, the government doctor are still operating the clinics in morning and evening.
Shiv Sena will Gherao all such clinics after three days, he warned.
Gupta said that a noble profession of medicine has been turned by some doctors to exploit people, which is a black spot in glowing face of society.
He said that the ban announced by the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir have shocked the doctors, however, people are happy as they will now get better services in Hospitals.
Shiv Sena leader has appealed the government to get the High Court order implemented without further delay.
Gupta said that Shiv Sena and Dogra Front raised the voice for the ban on private practice of doctors from time to time.
Shiv Sena and Dogra Front will see to it that black sheep among the community should not be allowed to continue their practice in spite of ban and warn the Government to take action immediately against all those who are still carrying activities inspite of ban.
Shiv Sena and Dogra Front have discussed this matter with both the ministers concerned including Sham Lal Sharma and Rajinder Singh Chib who assured Gupta that no relaxation will be given to the defaulters and strict action will be taken.
