Dev Anand Fan Club pays tribute to ‘Dev Anand' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Dec 5: Members of Dev Anand Fan Club and Anand Creative Arts today paid tributes to the Bollywood legend Dev Anand who passed away in London on Sunday. According to press statement it was observed that the demise of Dev Anand is a big loss to the Indian Film Industry as well as to the nation. “He had been working in the Indian Film Industry since 1945 and was still making films on regular basis and no other person has been able to work actively for such a long time in Films all over the world and his record seems to be unbeatable, the statement said. After getting break in Films as leading actor in 1945, he was wise enough to start his own Film production banner 'Navketan' in 1949 which ensured his long career till his last breaths. Rakesh Anand (President, Dev Anand Fan Club and Anand Creative Arts) who knows Dev Saab for the last 20 years, described late soul as the ultimate gentleman of Indian Film Industry who was always full of life, energetic, sympathetic, receptive and encouraging.
