| MFJ opposes transfers of reg powers to revenue deptt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 5: The Muslim Federation, Jammu today strongly opposed move to divert the registration of documents through Revenue Officers. Senior party leader Talat Niaz Qazi today said that any such moves shall further increase already prevalent corruption in the Revenue department. He said that Revenue Officers arte even do not remain available for providing revenue documents and one is at loss to understand as to how the Govt has thought to transfer registration powers with the Revenue Officers. Qazi has demanded that registration of documents should be left with Judicial Officers only for the benefit and convenience of public.
