| Jammu Dec 5:- Intelligence sleuths are worried over growing threat from various militant organizations in the state. These organizations have been sharing vital information over social networking sites like Facebook, Google Talk, Skype and through other means like Yahoo Messenger and MSN. Among them Facebook is widely being used by the militants to share their information since they feel that Facebook Chat and Video are the safest means to transfer vital information with their counter parts in Jammu Kashmir. According to the intelligence sources, the state being one of the biggest hub of militancy is posing a threat to the security as the organizations have closed all means of communication used by them since last over 2 decades including wireless sets and mobile phones. The sources said that militants have minimized the use of Wireless sets and mobiles up to 90% for fear of being intercepted. “We are aware of the fresh move from the militants but were helpless as the Cyber Cell in Jammu Kashmir lacks teeth”, they said. The sources said that the militants from Jammu Kashmir presently in Pakistan were in constant touch with their families here and shared every movement with them The sources believe, the growing use of uncheck Social networking sites in Jammu Kashmir poses a fresh threat to security agencies operating here since it directly affected the insurgency operations in militancy infested areas of the state. The intelligence sleuths has sought appropriate measures from the without affecting the common man.
