| Promises made by NC led govt total misleading : Gayoor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Dec 6 :Taking a dig at present NC led dispensation, Youth General secretary Showkat Gayoor has accused it for making the state most corrupt and insecure leading to total chaos adding to the miseries of the people.
In a statement Gayoor said that all the promises of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah from the day one has proved to be hollow and misleading whether it should be the jobs for the 8th pass, stipend to educated youth, free electricity or promises of accountability.
Instead of fulfilling these promises Omar had treated the innocent youth with brute force and had treated them with bullets, arrests and filing of FIR’s against thousands of them. Now Omar with a new tactics against the youth is asking the very same educated youth to work as daily wagers on 50 percent salary on regular jobs.
Gayoor said that deteriorating power scenario in the state has proved about the failure of the government in providing regular supply of power to the people despite the hollow claims of improvement in generation of power but instead the electric fee has been increased putting more burden on the poor people.
Gayoor said that no new initiative has been taken in development sector instead is abandoning or maintaining very slow pace of mega schemes like PM’s package, ADB, NUREM, PMGSY, Tourism, MNREGA forcing the Centre to stop fundings of many schemes due to this inefficient implementation.
Gayoor has asked the youth to strengthen the party and aware the people about the programme of self rule as PDP is the only party which has the real vision and agenda for the development of all the sections and regions of the state under the leadership of Party patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed.
