| Girl recovered a month after her abduction; man-son he | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 07: A minor girl, who was allegedly abducted by a man and his son from Galiote in Pancheri, was today recovered by police from a remote village in Udhampur.
The accused were also apprehended and booked under relevant sections of law, SSP (Udhampur) Shakeel Ahmad Beigh said.
They were identified as Rashid Gujjar, son of Sain of Sadhota, Pancheri, and his son Saif Din.
Both of them allegedly abducted Begum, daughter of Noora, from near her residence at Galiote on November 11 last and then took her to their hideout at Latyar, a far-flung village in Pancheri.
The SSP said, after hectic efforts, police rescued the girl from the clutches of her abductors and arrested them. After her medical examination, she was sent home.
A case was registered against them at Pancheri police station under sections 363, 376 and 109 of RPC.
