| MLC visits Hiranagar border areas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Dec 7: MLC Subash Gupta today visited border areas of village Kotpunu, Dhali and Chinwag of Tehsil Hiranagar to listen to the problems and demands of the people of the border areas at their door steps.
MLC inspected the flood affected areas of village Dhali which is damaged due to heavy rain.
He started the work by lying the 100 crates in flood affected areas under MNREGA scheme He said that Rs 2 lakhs is required for the channelize of Khud so that flow of the water smoothly passes in the khud.
He assured the people to channelize work of the khud started soon.
In village Khandwal people projected various demands and problems which includes repair of lanes and drains, electric poles and, fresh BPL survey.
MLC listened to their demands and grievances and assured them their genuine grievances would be addressed in phased manner.
MLC announced Rupees fifty thousand for the development of village Khandwal.
