| Employment criteria unrealistic in Hydro Power Projects : CVWF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 7: Chenab Valley Welfare Forum (CVWF) Kishtwar held its meeting under the chairmanship of Mashood Mattoo at Kishtwar in which members criticized employment advertisement by Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt Ltd saying criteria fixed for the posts advertised is unrealistic and unjustified.
Mattoo lambasting the criteria terms of Age and Percentage fixed for the posts advertised by Mananger HR CVPP ( A joint venture company ) stated that this is unrealistic and unjustified because the incumbents of Chenab valley particularly of Distt Kishtwar cannot compete with the technocrats of rest of the country where all facilities are available readily. Matto has urged upon the Hon’ble chief Minister of J&K Omar Abdullah to personally intervene into the matter and fulfillment of the commitments of his own to create job opportunities to the local candidates in these Hydro Power Projects. He also demanded that priority should be given to those whose land has been acquired for the projects for the projects to earn their better livelihood.
Among others who were present in this meeting included Sadat Bashir Dar, Farooq Ahmed Tapal, Joginder Pal Wazir Ahmed Rajbullah Naik, Riyaz Ahmed and Farooq Ahmed.
