| ‘FDI issue in abeyance’ is victory of people: HSS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 7: Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) in the meeting of its executive body held today hailing holding back of FDI by the UPA Government in retail sector termed it as a victory of the people of India as well as business fraternity who put up a united front for the interests of the retailers in the country.
Dimy Kohli National President Hindustani Shiv Sena in a meeting held here today stated that the party shall fight tooth and nail till the FDI in retailing sector is completely rolled back. He expressed his gratitude to the people of Jammu as well as Retailers Association for showing then solidarity to make the bandh successful throughout the country.
The HSS exhorted the public particularly the business community to remain vigilant in case the Government tries to hood wink the small traders as any such move will render millions of retailers jobless and give rise to already rising un-employment among the un-employed youth.
Among those present in the meeting included Vipin Hindu, G.I Singh, Ashwani Gupta, Satish Soni and Krishan Salaria
