| SC/ST Confederation Poonch elects its body | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu DEC 7:
In a meeting of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organization Poonch under the Chairmanship of Prof Mohd Shafiq its former President nominated various office bearers of the organization.
A press statement issued today, during the meeting Ms Zahida Begum vice President of state women cell was act as observer and members resolved to dissolve along with its block and Teh units which were elected previously and elected fresh office bearers.
Members unanimously elected Mohd Asad Chaouhan (Distt President), Head Master Lal Hussain Tarwa (General Secretary), Rajesh Kumar and Hafiz Kalas Vice-president and cashier respectively.
Newly elected president Mohd Asad Chouhan assured the house that he will work for the upliftment of these communities. Other who spoke on the occasion included Prof Munir Hussain Melu, Prof Mohd Farooq, Agriculture Officer Gul Sayeed, Head Mistress Shamim Akhter, Javida Firdos, Parveen Kumar, Lal Hussain, Ashraf Chouhan, Javid Kasapa and Sarfraz Chouhan.
