| Bar Association observes pen down strike | | Demands probe into IRP cop's mysterious death | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Dec 7:Bar Association Rajouri today observed pen down strike in support of Bar Association Jammu and to the family of IRP cop Shahid Bhat who died in mysterious circumstances.
Lawyers of Rajouri sat on protest dharna in the District Session Court Complex under the leadership of Bar Association President Liaqat Chaudhary and Association
Secretary Vibodh Gupta.
The protesting advocates said that family of IRP cop Shahid Bhat, who died under mysterious circumstances, is not getting proper response from Police authorities as well as from state govt. They also alleged that neither any minister of govt nor any
of the police officer has visited Shahid's house to condole his death and such a behaviour of authorities is hurting the emotions of his family. The Bar Association Rajouri also expressed its resentment over the transfer of registration powers from judicial hands to Magistrate.
