| Medical camp organized by VUC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 7:A free medical camp was organized by Village Uplift Committee in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad near Sharma Banquet Hall Chowadi here today .
The medical camp was inaugurated by Amrit Malhotra Chairman Legislative Council of Jammu and Kashmir.
While speaking on the occasion, Malhotra appreciated the efforts of organizations and announced his full support at official and financial level for any further social works.
A team of doctors comprised of Dr Priyanka Sodani Mahajan, Eye Specialists, Dr Kahlid Javed, Physician, Dr Neera Bhargava, Pediatrics, Dr Priyanka Ambardar, Gynaecologist from “Acharya Shri Chander Hospital” Batra examined about 200 patients.
Ved Parakash Sharma President Village Uplift Committee welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries among examined patients, 15 cataract patients were found, require operations who were advised by the doctors to come at Batra Hospital who will be operated free of cost.
