Jammu Dec 7: “BJP and PDP are two faces of the same coin while the BJP preaches communal politics, PDP preaches divisive politics and they do all this for petty political gains”, said Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President J&K National Conference Jammu province while addressing a function organized to welcome Chain Singh Dehati, State General Secretary Panthers Trade Union
Panther Trade union leader was welcomed in party folds in a joining ceremony organized in presence of Devender Singh Rana Political Advisor to the Chief Minister and Aijaz Jan, MLA Poonch.
While welcoming the new faces in party folds, NC leader Gupta said it has been the endeavour of the BJP to divide Jammu and Kashmir on regional and communal lines as also divide Jammu region on communal lines while the PDP is playing divisive politics of religion, region, sub-region, ethnicity, caste and creed.
He said the unprecedented developmental activities that are happening across the state and landmark decisions taken by the Omar Abdullah led government to bring transparency and accountability in governance has unnerved the opposition and they are now coming out with frivolous, baseless propaganda.
Provincial President said PDP leadership which is a fountain head of intrigue is now indulging in brazen double speak as it speak one language in Kashmir they have separate language for Jammu and when in Delhi they take an absolute U-turn.
Gupta said between 2002 - 2005 the Mufti led government brought miseries to the people while their leadership indulged in unprecedented luxuries at the cost of the state exchequer. He said time has come to expose the clandestine designs of the BJP and the PDP.
Rattan Lal Gupta welcomed Chain Singh Dehati and his Union into the party fold and hoped that their joining into the party will further strengthen the party.
While joining the party Chain Singh said that he is fully convinced with the programme and policies of the National Conference and have full faith in its leadership.
