Bullet marks on RS Pura school building reminiscent of IB tension | | | Vaibhavi Chandel Jammu, Dec 7: With marks of bullet hits on its walls, the government school in this village bordering Pakistan in the Ranbirsingh Pura sector , is a grim reminder to the heightened enmity between the two countries particularly following the build up on the international border post terror attack on the Indian Parliament. The bullet marks on the school walls with about 200 students on rolls have virtually become remnant of hostility of Pakistani troops towards India. The place was subjected to unprovoked firing by Pakistani soldiers ever since partition of the country in 1947. Tourists visiting the pre-partition era's octroi post on the Suchetgarh border make it a point to visit the school and see the bullet marks. Villagers say that the bullet marks on the walls of the school, about 28 kms from Jammu, remind them of the danger they encountered all these years to earn their livelihood.
