Farooq, Khan on the same page | Future Of POJK | | NEHA JAMMU, Dec 7: Leading daily Hindustan Times (HT) organizes leadership summit every year in New Delhi and provides a platform to leading personalities, including politicians from India and outside, to express their views on the issues facing the world, as also on regional issues. The HT leadership Summit 2011 was concluded only a couple of days ago. A number of persons from India and outside participated in it. The organizers also ensured the participation of two persons from Jammu and Kashmir - pro-autonomy Farooq Abdullah and pro-self-rule Mehbooba Mufti - and a well-known Pakistani politician Asfandyar Wali Khan. They didn't invite anyone from Jammu and Ladakh. It was expected. Who cares for Jammu and Ladakh. They are non-entities whose views deserve no consideration whatever. Kashmir outside the State means the entire State why because New Delhi always focused its attention on the restive and separatist-infested Kashmir Valley. Anyway, forget Jammu and Ladakh for a while and focus on what Wali Khan and Farooq said in the Summit. "Change the stated positions to usher in peace" in the region, |
