Early Times report

Jammu, Dec 7: For the time being both New Delhi and Islamabad have decided to ignore persistent demand of valley based separatists for making Indo-Pak dialogue Kashmir centric instead of giving weightage to trade and travel. In fact both Islamabad and New Delhi seem to be engaged in the process of reducing the trust deficit which it believes can be achieved if the two sides lay emphasis on promoting trade and travel.
In the context of efforts being made for reducing trust deficit two important developments seem to fortify these efforts.First,is the decision of India and Pakistan to double the provisions of the bilateral trade.
According to the Union Ciommerce Minister,Anand Sharma, the two sides have agreed to increase the quantum of annual trade between India and Pakistan from 2.7 billion US dollars to over six billion US dollars during the next two years. In order to achieve this
