Court acquits alleged militant in murder case | Arrest warrants against four accused including Div Com HM issued | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 8: Principal Sessions Judge Reasi acquitted one Nazir Ahmed alleged militant and issued general arrests warrants against four others including Divisional Commander Mustaq Ahmed @ Maqsood Ahmed Bhat Divisional Commander HM in a murder case. Principal Sessions Judge Reasi Rajesh Sekhri acquitted one Nazir Ahmed alleged militant and issued general arrests warrants against four alleged accused namely as Suriya Begum, Mustaq Ahmed @ Maqsood Ahmed Bhat Divisional Commander HM, Mohd Rafiq @ Basharat, Mustaq Ahmed @ Irfan in a case of murder. Principal Sessions Judge Reasi after hearing Public Prosecutor appearing for the state and Advocates Sheikh Altaf Hussain and MS Mir appeared for the accused Nazir Ahmed observed prosecution has badly failed in establishing the offence against the accused and acquitted the accused Nazir Ahmed from the charges. Dr Aijaz Ahmed has also stated that no weapon of offence was produced before him According to the police case that on March 9, 2009 P/S Mahore received an information from reliable sources that some militant belonging to banned outfit Hizbul Mujahdeen and at instance of Pakistani Agency ISI with an intention to create terror in the J&K State opened indiscriminate firing on one Noor Hussain @ Laifa and killed him on spot and militant fled away after committing the murder.
