| Sandeep verma short film "The Tip" to be screened in National film festival. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 8: The Tip, a short film containing a very sensitive ingredient of a young mind’s perspective toarsd the broader understandings of the things all around is J&K firsr attempt in at ADDA short film festival 2011 Guwahati Assam.
The film made under the banner of Disha Creations is a yeoman’s attempt by Sandeep Verma , a well known name in TV and stage spectrum of the state to whose credit is a bouquet full of productions in the varied fields.
The Tip is his maiden attempt in short film making that includes a young boy’s outlook of etiquette in the restaurant where in he orders a costly ice-cream later to replace the same with a plain one in order to give the tip to the steward.
The very small idea conceived and developed by Sandeep Verma in a very unique way is a blend of art ant texture mixed for the celluloid in a praiseworthy manner.
The Tip would be screened at ADDA short film festival at Guwahati, Assam which opens on 23rd and 24th December.
Sandeep Verma is a Jammu lad working as a theatre and TV artist since last 5 years. He has acted in more than 30 plays and 15 TV serials. He has also directed 5 theatre plays. He has participated in 6 national and 2 international theatre festivals also
He has directed two short films in the year 2011 under the banner of Disha creations which were "The Tip " and "Itz Jammu " .
The artists who have worked in the film are Dhruv Chandan, Meenakshi Bhagat, Sourav Verma, Hans Raj verma
