| MLA Doda distributes post-matric scholarship among 341 students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, DECEMBER 08- MLA, Doda, Abdul Majid Wani today distributed Post–Matric Scholarship cheques among 341 students of Minorities, Scheduled caste and RBA of Doda District in a function organized by the District Social Welfare Officer, Rakesh Kumar at Town Hall Doda.
While speaking on the occasion, Wani asked the poor people belonging to minority communities and reserved category to avail benefits of various schemes of the social welfare department. He said under Post–matric scholarship scheme financial assistance is being provided to poor minority community students to enable them to continue their education and uplift their literacy/dropout rate. He asked the students to work hard to achieve desired goal in life.
A large number of people, students and District officers were present on the occasion.
