12/8/2011 10:40:07 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 8:The locals of village Seiya Devak Hatthal Bandrai (Sunderbani) has sought to draw attention of the concerned authorities towards the pathetic condition of the 20 Km long Laitter-Hatthal road.
The people said it seems that the authorities are never concerned about the roads which have got damaged due to rain.
They said the patchwork is started in the winter season only due to which the tarcoal does not set properly thus making the public money a wastage adding that the meagre patch work which was done few days back is wearing down as one can see the concrete coming out from these repairs.
The department is only concerned for completion of the job but the quality of work done is not checked.
The infuriated locals said that there is no system of drainage along the roadside so that the water in rainy season instead of flowing on the roads flows in the drains.
