JAMMU, Dec 8: Government MAM College clinched the overall championship trophy by securing highest 13 points in the two-day inter-college men's wrestling competition concluded on the campus under the banner of Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here today. Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua and GDC Hiranagar remained second and third respectively. Earlier, wrestlers from GDC Reasi, Hiranagar and Billawar also performed well but could not make it to the first three positions. Today's bouts were officiated by penal of technical officials including Bansi Lal Tidyal, Mulkh Raj Sharma, Ravinder Kumar and Sahil Sharma. The final bouts were witnessed besides others by Director Sports and Physical Education, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau. Meanwhile, as per the organizers, the inter-college women's wrestling competition shall take place at the same venue tomorrow at 10 am.
