JAMMU, Dec 08: Jammu district clinched both the relay gold medals decided today in under-14 and under-17 age groups thereby maintained their dominance over other competing districts in the divisional level inter-district boys' athletics meet, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at University of Jammu fields, here. However, athletes from district Udhampur, who could not do well yesterday, secured three gold medals today to match Jammu's tally on day two. District Samba won two gold medals and Poonch one in different field and track events.
Going by the final medals tally at the end of day two of this three-day meet, Jammu district emerged as undisputed leader with 13 gold medals in all age groups. Meanwhile, according to the organizers a couple of events have been left for tomorrow, which will be followed by the prize distribution function at the same venue.
