| 2 arrested alongwith stolen car | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Dec 9: Acting promptly Udhampur Police recovered a stolen Car Maruti-800 within 24 hours, which was stolen from Salain Talab Udhampur, police said adding that two person have been arrested in this regard.
Police said that based on a complaint lodged by Pawan Kumar S/O Ved Raj R/o Krimachi Mansar at present Sallain Talab, Udhampur regarding theft of above mentioned Maruti Car from Salain Talab, Udhampur Police swung into action. Besides this, Police parties of Police Station Udhampur were deputed to lay special Nakas at National Highway to apprehend the thieves and recover the stolen vehicle. “Subsequently, today morning, Special Naka Party of Kheri intercepted the stolen vehicle which was being driven by the thieves to Kashmir valley.
“Both the accused have been identified as Rahul Pabba S/O Om Parkash R/O Pabba Gali, Chabutra Bazar, Udhampur and Vicky Sharma S/O Tilak Raj Sharma R/O Battal Ballain, Udhampur, police said further adding that stolen Maruti-800 bearing Registration No.6192/JK02K was also recovered from their possession.
A Case FIR No.326//2011 U/S 379 RPC stands registered at Police Station Udhampur.
