| Ajaz inaugurates employment fair at Sangaldan | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, December 9 : With a view to provide adequate awareness to the rural un-employed youth of Udhampur district for opting to start income generating ventures in their respective areas by availing the benefits of all state and centrally sponsored schemes at their door steps, a 3-day long Employment Fairs inaugurated by the Minister of State for Haj, Auqaf, Fisheries, RDD and Panchayat Ajaz Ahmed Khan at Gool Sangaldan .
Speaking on the occasion, Khan said that the main aim and objective of such employment melas is to generate massive awareness regarding various state and centrally sponsored schemes of the government among the un-employed youth of rural areas in particular and common masses in general. The Minister said that educated youth should come forward to avail maximum benefits out of different schemes especially conceived for raising their economic lot despite of hankering after government jobs.
He exhorted upon the officers different departments to put up in their sincere efforts in educating the people at every nook and corner of the state regarding the self employment schemes so that they could get the benefits of different schemes by setting up of their own income generating venturesome. He also inspected stalls put up by various departments and asked them to provide all awareness about the schemes to the common masses. Minister said that present government is committed to strengthen the panchayati Raj Institutions in the state so that rural areas could be brought under developmental activities by monitoring different activities of the 14 different departments. He also handed over engagement orders among five candidates under Rehbar-e- Taleem Pattern besides he distributed IAY cheques of Rs 3 lacs among 10 beneficiaries.
