JAMMU , December 9 : Students, staff and management of Lawrence Public School celebrated Balika Divas (Girl Child Day) in the school premises.
The students and teachers spoke on this occasion about the importance of this day and the importance of Empowering the Girl Child and the women in our society. They also told about the important role a Girl plays by being a daughter, sister, mother in our society, further contributing in the field of education, medicine, sports, administration, politics and other important fields.
The Girl students of the school felt proud on this day for being born as a Girl in their family and were thankful to their parents and teachers for providing a quality life and providing education. They endorsed the fact that by educating a girl child you educate a family.
