| NPSU protests ban on SMSes of pre-paid mobiles | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 9: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) held a strong protest demonstration at Government MAM College against centre and state governments for imposing a ban on SMSes of pre-paid mobile phone service.
The students of MAM College gathered at the main gate and raised slogans against the centre and state governments. The protest was led by Harish Choudhary (NPSU leaders and President Bishnah Tehsil NPSU).
Addressing the gathering, Harish Choudhary said that though the government has banned the SMS services but the crime rate in J&K is still as it is, infact it is on higher side than before the ban. Due to the ban, the people of the J&K state are suffering a lot. He said that the state and centre government should improve their intelligence instead of banning this service.
NPSU leaders demand that this ban should be revoked as soon as possible.
Other who were present in this protest including Rahil Sharma, Pushvinder Singh, Navhot Singh, Ran Vijay Singh, lovely Singh Bhau, Amit, Waseem, Gurjeet Singh, Ravi and Nitish.
