| Touching adieu to Puran Chand | | |
JAMMU, JULY 31: The officers and officials of State Information Department, Directorate of Information (Camp Office) gave a touching farewell to Mr. Puran Chand, Junior Artist of Exhibition Wing on his voluntarily retirement after rendering 31 years valuable service in the department at a simple but impressive function held here today. He joined the Information Department in the year 1976.
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers recalled the services of Mr. Puran Chand and said that he has worked in the department in various capacities with the entire satisfaction with honesty, efficiency and dedication. Mr. Puran Chand would be remembered for his faithful services in the department forever, the speakers said.
Deputy Directors of Information Mr. M. S. Dar,Mrs. Suriaya Aga, Editor Yojana Mrs. Namrita Dogra also highlighted the services of Mr. Puran Chand and asked the other employees to follow the footsteps of Mr. Puran and work with zeal and dedication.
Later, Mr. Puran Chand thanked all the participants and asked them to strive hard for the welfare of State Information Department and to create a healthy and qualitative environment in the department. |
