| French Club felicitates students of KC Gurukul School | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 9:To encourage the students who did well in French language, the French Club of Jammu (club de Francias) today felicitated students of KC Gurukul School.
French Club of Jammu took an initiative to encourage the students who ranked top positions in French language subject in their respective classes and have shown continuous zeal for French.
A colourful function that included Dogri as well as French songs was held at KC Gurukul School in which the students of the institution performed. Students were also told about the current trends in the French language and how the language could help them in making their future bright.
Chief Guest on the occasion, Dr SK Saini who is senior commandant, Railway Protection Force, said that he was a student of foreign languages since 1985. “I have a desire to learn foreign languages as a result of which I am presently learning French language in Jammu” he said.
Jatinder Singh, Chairman of the French who was guest of honour felicitated the students and said that French was the second largest spoken language in the world. “French language has a great scope in the world of today. French speaking people are given priority in hospitality, tourism, airlines and many other sectors” said Singh.
Sanjita Mahajan was also the guest of Honour and felicitated the students. She praised the dance performed by the students.
The students who were felicitated by the club are– Chahat, Ambica, Diksha, Mukul, Saubhagini, Mehak, Vimanyu, Mavish and Akash. The stage was managed by Palavi Gupta.
