| 431 units setup under REGP | | | Srinagar, Jan 11
Under Rural Employment Generation Programme (REGP), 431 income generating units have been set up in Kashmir Valley with a financial investment of Rs.9.80 crore. Rs.2.76 crore were provided as margin money to the unit holders by J & K Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB). As many as 6000 persons have got employment in these ventures.
This was stated at an officer meeting of J & K Khadi and Village Industries Board held here today. The meeting was convened to review progress on implementation of Rural Employment Generation programme. |
