JAMMU, DECEMBER 10- In order to carry out the branch cutting of trees and maintenance work of 66 KV Circuit-I, II & IV emanating from 220/132/66 KV Grid Station Hiranagar, the shut down is allowed on 11th and 18th of December, 2011. The areas affected Koota, Chadwal, Dinga-Amb and its adjoining areas, Hiranagar, Jandi, Dayalachack, Sallan Pranjali, Ramkot, Gurah Kalyal, Manwal and its adjoining areas on December 11, 2011 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and Chann Arrorian Marheen, Paharpur and its adjoining areas on December 18, 2011 from 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Similarly in order to carry out the stringing work of 220 KV D/C KSTL Line near Basantpur, the shut down on 11 KV Basantpur-Thein Line is allowed on 11th December, 2011 from 8.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The area affected due to shut down shall be Dungcha, Basantpur, Thein, Danna, Tanour, Karayli, Nora, Satwain, Drmar, Kutlehar, Bathindi and Barni.
According to Superintending Engineer, Elect. Maintt. & RE Circle, Kathua, the shut down is subjected to fair weather condition.
