| AJKMPJ appeals public to support Anna | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 10: All J&K Movement for Peace and Justice (AJKMPJ) appealed the General Public of J&K State to strongly support the bold voice of team Anna which it has raised against such a faulty bill. This type of crippled Lok Pal bill is of no substantial effect for which people have been crying so hoarse and for so long.
In a press statement issued here today, member of AJKMPJ Kuldeep Kumar Rao said that the people are supreme and any democratic government has to respect the will of the people and frame institution in accordance to their wish and will. Let the people in every nook and corner of J&K state irrespective of caste, religion, political affiliation or region, come out with protest marches and rallies to register their support to Anna. If we miss this opportunity to strengthen this right movement, we will suffer to much greater extent in future at the hands of the corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, adulterators and criminals as they will get further emboldened by the failure of such an honest movement.
Rao also appealed to the Sarpanches and Panches of Jammu Province to assemble on at Press Club Jammu on December 24 to register their support for their genuine demand of remuneration.
He appealed the government that it should announce a salary /remuneration of not less then Rs 10,000 per month for the Sarpanches and a salary not less than Rs 3000 for the Panches.
