Jammu Dec 10: Jagti Tenement Committee held its meeting at Jagti (Nagrota) today under the chairmanship of B L Raina in which camp dewellers expressed grave concern over the deplorable condition of link road from Kandoli to Jagti to especially at Kandoli
During the meeting Chand Ji Pandita General Secretary and Ravi Zutshl Convenor of the committee highlighted problems of the camp dwellers and demanded immediate fencing of the camp so that entry of wild and domestic animals can be stopped.
Speakers also said that despite frequent visits of the concerned agency, the manholes and septic tanks still are over flowing while leakages and foul smell from sewage water is creating problem for camp dwellers.
In another meeting of Soan Kashmir Front held under the leadership of S L Pandita, President Soan Kashmir Front and Jagti Tenament committee members appealed the state government to provide proportionate share out of. Kashmir valley for rehabilitation of Kashmir Pandit at one particular area and providing cash assistance of Rs 50.00 lakhs to each migrant family for construction of their residential houses.
The members in the both meetings have unanimously demanded enhancement of cash assistance relief in favour of the Migrants.
Among other who spoke in the meeting included Rattan Lal Bhat, Veer Jee Rana, Raj Kapoor, BansilLal Koul, Mohan Lal Akhoon, Roshal tal Bhat, Kuldeep Koul, Ramesh Razdan, Brij Nath Thusoo, Inderjee Labroo, Rajinder Dhar and others.
