| Red Cross organises free medical aid camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 10: Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu organized a free medical aid camp at Village Agore, Block Bhalwal about 17 Kms from here in collaboration with BEE ENN Charitable Hospital, Jammu and Hirdyadeep Ashram.
The camp which benefited 500 patients under the supervision of Dr Kaushalaya Sambyal, along with Dr Kavita Nijohn, Dr Ropinder Kaur and Dr Dalmani Sharma assisted by Kuldeep Bhat (Eye Tech) and Joginder Kumar, (Pharmacist) from Red Cross Dispensary, Jammu.
Anil K Padha, Honorary Secretary Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion who was received by R C Khajuria, Dy Secretary J&K Assembly, Ravinder Singh, Sarpanch Lower Jandial and Balbir Singh, Sarpanch Upper Jandial.
Padha interacted with Doctors and some patients to enquire about the medical assistance required in the area. He assured the people that the patients requiring spectacles and hearing aids shall be taken care by the Regional Red Cross and asked the Doctors to refer their cases. The awareness campaign about the camp was conducted by Young Blood Association under the leadership of Kanchan Sharma, Hony Director Young Blood Association.
This was 10th Free Medical Aid Camp by Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu in collaboration with different NGOs. The relief material was also distributed to the needy people which includes 15 Ladies sweaters, 15 gents sweaters, 15 blankets, 1 woollen caps lady socks, gents socks 15 children sweaters and 15 woolen gloves for ladies and gents each and 05 kitchen sets, were also provided to old widows, whereas medicines were arranged by BEE ENN Charitable Hospital, Jammu
