| Hussaini Club lifts overall trophy in Cycle Polo | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Dec 11: Hussani Sports Club lifted the overall championship trophy in the District Srinagar Cycle Polo Championship, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cycle Polo Association at Islamia College grounds, here today.
Hussani Club clinched double title in sub-junior and junior boys. In sub-junior section, they beat VB High School and later outplayed Makdoomi Sports Club 5-3 in junior boys’ category. The senior boys’ title went to Hyder Sports Club, who beat Makdoomi Sports Club 6-3 in the final.
As per the organizers, in all, 13 teams took part in this competition. In the final and prize distribution function, Physical Director of the Islamia College, Altaf-ul-Rehman was chief guest.
Now, the selected probable shall undergo a coaching camp prior to their participation in the nationals to be held in Mumbai in the last week of this month.
