| JKNPP level charges against supply department | | | POONCH | JAN 11
The workers of JKNPP in a meeting highlighted the problems being faced by the people of Poonch. The meeting presided over by the general secretary of Panther student union and district youth President J.B Singh strongly criticized the working of food and supplies department in the district.
They alleged a strong nexus between staff. of the department with ration depot holders in black making the ration. It is observed that the sugar sanctioned for the month of Oct. Nov. 2006 is not provided to the dealers and so to the public. The K. oil is black-marketed to the petrol pumps and drivers. The K. oil is not properly given to the public in such chilly season.
The JKNPP unit of district demanded CBI inquiry into the matter.
