PDP expresses concern over KP plight at Jagati | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 11: In a largely attended meet of Kashmiri Pandits, mainly youth today at Jagti Township under the leadership of Rajesh Bhat, Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) senior leader and social activist, concern was expressed on the problems being faced by the community. In a marathon interaction, views were exchanged among the participants, which include both short and long term concerns. Expressing concern on the negligent attitude of some authorities, the participants demanded immediate redressal of the problems like improper electricity, poor health and education infrastructure and related curricular facilities. In addition to opening of computer institute, the members demanded construction of playing ground with availability of sports infrastructure. Expressing concern on the rising frustration among youth, Bhat moved immediate attention of the authorities towards development of sports activities in the township, he on behalf of the party assured them all possible help and support. Commenting on the long term issues, the participants demanded processing of the second part of the Prime Minister's employment package. Expressing gratitude of the central government, Bhat asked the state government to initiate the process of second part of the PM's employment package as yet a lot of youth are unemployed and have got scattered all over the country doing meager jobs.
