HRA Patnitop holds meeting | Urges CM to consider demands of hoteliers | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 11:Hailing the decision of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to chair the proposed meeting of Patnitop Development Authority (PDA) on December 14, the Hotel and Restaurant Association (HRA), Patnitop described the CM’s initiative as a positive step to review the development of famous hill resort. In a meeting of HRA held here today, its Chairman Dr CK Singh Tara, president Kushal Magotra, General Secretary Lovenesh Rao Sathe beside other members expressed hope that CM would take serious note of the various issues concerning the improvement of tourism infrastructure in Patnitop and its adjoining areas including Sanasar. They urged the CM to look into the matter in a sympathetic manner as Patnitop needs immediate attention for its further growth and upgradation. The office bearers and members of HRA said that they are optimistic that CM would consider long pending demands of hoteliers and other traders who are striving hard to make Patnitop a dream destination for tourists adding that CM would consider all issues concerning overall development of the tourist resort and would take positive decisions in this regard. The HRA team also discussed the various demands to be projected before the proposed meeting of PDA. Treasurer HRA Shammi Badyal and Coordinator HRA Devinder Kotwal were also present on the occasion.
