| DDC reviews developmental activities at Doda | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Dec 12: To review the physical and financial achievements made by the line departments in the district, District Development Commissioner, Doda, Farooq Ahmed Khan today convened a meeting of the District and sectoral officers at Doda today.
While speaking on the occasion DDC impressed upon the officers to utilize their resources for the development of far flung and remote areas. He said that Government is committed to provide all the basic amenities to the people, road, medicare facility, education, drinking water and electricity are the thrust areas of the government besides development of agriculture and other allied sectors.
He asked the officers to create awareness among the people regarding various programmes and schemes initiated for the benefit of the poor people and upliftment of their socio-economic condition. DDC said that there is need to provide focused attention on the various developmental projects in the District for their time bound completion. He asked the officers to personally monitor the execution of works in their respective fields and ensure cent percent expenditure without compromising with the quality of work.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Doda, G.N Balwan, Chief Planning Officer, Doda, Dr. Yassir Balwan, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Doda Naresh Kumar, Sub Divisional Magistrate Bhaderwah S.V Meena besides other District and Sectoral officers were present in the meeting.
