Batwals urge CM, Dy CM for development of Guru Gyagi Shrine | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT THE Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association in its meeting at Domana today under the chairmanship of Capt Raj Kumar Kaith urged the Chief Minister and Dy Chief Minister to announce finance assistance for development of Guru Gyagi Shrine. The Association discussed the matters relating to repairs of urgent nature required to Guru Gyagi Shrine at Shahzad Pur Kothi (in Block Marh). They said that community hall constructed in the premises also needs to be some repaired and electrification. The Association therefore, urged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand to grant adequate funds for the urgent requirements regarding maintenance. The Association urged them to issue directives to the concerned Departments for examining the issues concerning reservation, clearance of backlog vacancies, constitution of enforcement committees etc. for consideration of the Government. Earlier, the Association condoled the demise of its eminent member Isher Dass Lakhotra (of Village Sohanjana) and prayed to Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul. Prominent among those who attended the meeting included R.L.Kaith, Ramesh Kaith, Mela Ram, Mohan Lal, Capt Om Parkash , Capt Kamal Chand, Sub. Maj. Thoru Ram, Sub. Maj. Gunni Ram, O.P.Sargotra, Dilay Ram, Piara Lal and Parma Nand.
