| Chib elected as state president of NSUI | | Fairoz, Joginder, Neeraj elected to national committee | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 12: Uday Bhanu Chib has been elected as state president National Students Union of India (NSUI) for which the organizational polls concluded at PCC headquater in winter capital.
According to party sources there were seven candidates contesting for the post of president NSUI and Uday Bhanu Chib has been elected as state president whereas Abhishek has been elected as Vice president, Shadab Ahmed Wani ,Ajay Sharma,Waseem Sajad ,Sidarth Pathania, Nida Imtiaz all elected as general secretaries.
While Fairoz khan, Joginder Singh Thakur and Neeraj Kundan has been elected as National Delegates from Jammu And Kashmir in the national committee of NSUI. All the elected college committees and college delegates have cast their votes in favour of respective candidates.
According to sources the NSUI elections were held in five zones viz. Jammu, Rajouri Poonch, Doda , Srinagar and Anantnag. While interacting with the media Mr. Chib thanks all his team membersand supporters and especially thanked Mr. Shahnawaz Choudary All India Secretary Indian Youth Congress without whose support and able guidance it would have been impossible.
The district presidents who have been elected today included Ijaz Alam Jammu district, Shivam District Udhampur, Vikrant District Kathua, Sahil Raina Distt. Rajouri, Mohd. Shafiq Distt. Poonch, Shoukat Ganai Distt. Ramban, Vishal Kotwal Distt. Doda, Saqib Lone Distt. Kishtwar, Sheikh Amir Distt. Srinagar, Asif Bajran Distt. Pulwama, Kashmir University President Junaid.
On the occasion Fairoz Khan Joginder Thakur, Neeraj Kundan (elected for the national committee) also spoke on the occasion.
