Coming harshly on coalition government particulary on PDP MLA National Conference from Langate constituency, Sharif-u-Din Shariq, while replying on Governer’s address said, why PDP and its chief Mufti Mohd Sayeed are making here and cry on self rule and healing touch policy. He said why he (Mufti) has forgotten, being home minister of the country burning down of 1000 houses, killing of 25 people in Handwara and reducing major portion of apple town-Sapore into ashes, beside deliberately burning down some houses in Bijbehara town, and said why Mufti remain at that time said any thing about this.
Shariq, further said the present Government in the state failed on all front and no major development work in visible. The development at present in progress were taken and then NC Government, he said, and added “it is not an coalition Govt. but a Govt. of confusion.”
Referring in issuing of about 30 liquor shop licences to women has given bad name to women J&K, and this sows coalition Govt, intension in providing employment to women in liquor business, which my party NC is totally against. He also demanded that pay of ReT teachers be increased from 1200 to Rs. 5000 P.M, keeping in view the trend of price hike. With regard to Roshni Act, no money should be charged from poor people.
