‘Terror attack on Sagar’ an eye opener: Prof Gupta | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Dec 13: Condemning the terrorist attack on the life of Law and Rural Development Minister Ali Mohd. Sagar, the former Minister and MLA Prof Chaman Lal Gupta has observed that this should serve an eye opener for those who talk about lowering the guards ignoring the designs of the enemy of peace. In his press statement Prof Chaman Lal Gupta has observed the terror attack on cabinet minister Ali Mohd Sagar should serve an eye opener to those who talk of lowering the guards and good neighboring relations with the people of Pakistan for political reasons only while the terror camps still are active in PoK /PAK. Prof Gupta stated that though activities of ultras sponsored from across the borders have considerably contained due to the sacrifices of the security forces and many supporting the militancy have realized that violence is no solution to any problem. “The infiltration bids are on the increase despite tightened security measures along the LOC/borders. The recent arrest of ultras from Nepal and Bangladesh infiltration routes is another cause of worry, said Prof Gupta further adding that keeping in view all these factors there should be no lowering of the guards and all possible steps should be taken to protect the life and property of the people especially of those who are on the hit list of the enemy. He expressed sympathies with the family of the guard who became the victim of the terrorist attack on the life of Sagar and also with those who were injured. He also stressed for adequate relief to the family of the deceased as also full help to the injured for their treatment.
