| CJ appeals BAJ to suspend ongoing strike | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 13: Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court FM Ibrahim Kalifulla today held a meeting with the President & Office Bearer of Bar Association Jammu in the High Court complex wherein protesting bar members were appealed to suspend the strike which has entered into 20th consecutive day.
According to the Source close to the High Court that in the meeting Chief Justice discussed with the Bar Association Jammu Officer Bearers about on going strike against the Govt on transfer of Registration from Judicial Officers to Executive Officers and appeal to the Bar Association Jammu to suspend the strike and resume the work in the larger interest of Public at Large in general and litigations in particular as the strike had badly effected the public at large and asked the Bar Association Jammu to settle the matter with the State amicably.
