| Gupta takes stock of people’s problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, DECEMBER 13 - In order to address people’s problems at their doorsteps, the MLC Subash Gupta today held “Public Durbar” at Mukand Pur Lawana in Hiranagar tehsil. A large number of people from various parts of Hiranagar tehsil turned up and approsed the MLC about their problems.
The problems which were projected before the MLC mainly pertained to up-gradation of PHE Schemes, interrupted power supply, road connectivity, construction of lanes and drains, electric polls, installation of handpump, drinking and irrigation water supply, pending compensation of kharif crop 2009-10. People of the area projected the problem of shortage of staff and medicines in Marheen hospital.
Mr. Gupta listened each individual patiently and issued instructions to the concerned officers to resolve the problems on priority. He asked the officers to pay address problems of the people on the spot. He also stressed for effective monitoring of various ongoing schemes in the area so that projects are completed in time.
Responding to the demands of the local, Mr. Gupta announced Rs.1 lakhs for the development of the area. |
