Kranti Dal demands immediate restoration of Chandi Mata Mandir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, December 13: Kranti Dal today demanded immediate restoration of the Chandi Mata Mandir, which was damaged by setting it on fire by some miscreants. In a meeting of Kranti Dal today chaired by Working Chairman, Anan Sharma said,” Govt. is not keen to look after the religious property of the Hindus and this episode is also a part of the scheme of the extremists to wipe out Hindus from the state. Many times Idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses were stolen from the historical and famous temple but till date no clue has been found of there where being. Properties belonging to Hindu temples and Shrines have been encroached upon by some people with indulgence and help from some people already working with Dharmarth Trust which is the lone body to look after the Hindu shrines and temples”. Pritam Sharma gen. Secy said, “They have sold the Temple’s properties to some vested interests but Govt. is sleeping and after a lot of protests and reminders to pass Temples & Shrines Board Bill, is not acting positively. Also MLAs of Jammu region are not keen to do so and people of the division will teach them a lesson in the coming elections”. He also said that Hindu minded parties, who said themselves to be patrons of Hindus like BJP, VHP, RSS and many others have not even spoken on the issue of mining in the Vaishno Devi Hills which is the most religious and pious SHAKTIPEETH of Hindus and main pilgrimage place and also main revenue collection for the state. Kashmir centric Govt. is just thinking of minting money and is not taking Hindus’ sentiments in mind. Our Jammu based parties are silent on this mining issue and must take the issue in the coming session of assembly”. Kranti Dal warned that the Govt. and concerned authorities to take immediate steps to stop destruction of Hindu Temples & Shrines, otherwise Kranti Dal will take to the streets and rage a war against such atrocities on Hindus. Also present in the meeting included Rajinder Bhagat, Jagdish Sudan, Sankul Gupta and Vijay Kumar along with other members of different units.
