Deputation of teachers from Kishtwar met DC, apprised him of problems

JAMMU, December 13: A deputation of masters / teachers of district Kishtwar met deputy commissioner Kishtwar today under the Chairmanship of M. Irfan Mattoo and discussed the callous acts of CEO Kishtwar, Ajaeet Kumar Sharma.
The teaching community apprised Deputy Commissioner of high handedness, corruption, favoritism and communalism of the CEO Kishtwar.
Mehboob Ahmed Qazi , President All Masters/ Teachers Association said that despite the orders issued by Director School Education Jammu vide his No. DSEJ/201l/16780-16802 and Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar No. DDC/K/Edu/12692-93 and ACR/K/11/375-77 regarding immediate detachment of masters / teachers, the CEO Kishtwar is bent upon going against the Government policy just to benefit some of his favourite masters / teachers by ordering their attachments in schools and offices.
Tanveer Malik Chairman ERTU (Educational Reformation Teachers Unit) said that the CEO ordered deployment of certain masters/teachers in schools / Sub. Jail Kishtwar / Bharat Shaksharta Abhiyan and RMSA to their sweet will resulting in problem of in adequate staff or shortage of subject teacher in the institution.
60-70 transfers of masters / teacher with in Zero Kilometer radius were brought into force. Among them 20-30 Transfers were premature and made without seeking approval from the higher authorities as per norms.
He further said that in spite of adequate available job less staff ( technical and non-technical ) in Deputy CEO Office, the CEO attached 5 teachers / masters in his Office which is totally against the Government norms.
The teachers sought the immediate intervention of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar to look into the matter and put an end to the corrupt practices of the CEO Kishtwar. Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar assured the deputationists that appropriate action will be taken in the mater. The deputation included Nazir Sheikh, Ashraf Qazi, Qazi Iqbal, Shabir Slrwal , Bansi Lal, Uttam Singh. Jogindcr Kumar, Iqbal Sheikh, Farooq Butt and others.
