| Maertha residents allege mis-utilization of developmental funds | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA DEC 13: The people of the village Maertha held a protest demonstration to lodge their strong and genuine resentment against the district administration for mis-utilization of huge funds on the name of developmental works in the works in the Panchayat Maertha.
Led by the District president of National Panther Party Ravinder Singh Pathania the protestors allege the concerned authorities are mis-utilizing the funds meant for the Mertha Panchyat. Speaking on the occasion Pathania said that the developmental works taken under the MNREGA are not maintained under of quality and standard through which the general mosses of the Panchayat have lot of resentment against the concerned executing agency. He said that the Building of the Panchayat Gar is totally lying in depleted condition while students of the Govt School Mertha are being facing problems due to the scarcity of drinking water. Protestors urged Govt to conduct enquiry of all the misutilization of funds on the name of so called developmental works in the Panchayat Maertha. The protest was joined by Balbir Singh, Ganesh Sharma, Goldie Kumar, Ranvir Singh, Sanjay, Balbir Pathania Kalu and Sandeep.
