YJKL to observe token fast against recruitment policy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 13: Alleging that National Conference-Congress coalition is adopting anti-youth attitude, the Youth of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh (YJKL) activists said that new recruitment policy recently announced by the State Government is testimony to it. Addressing a press conference here today, chairman YJKL Suresh Ajay Magotra said that YJKL in coming days is going to organize one day “Aanshan” to protest the new job policy. He said that very soon the venue and date will be announced. The purpose of the ‘’AANSHAN’’ is to make people understand that such policies will increase corruption in the system and no one will work in spite of joining jobs as they will only get Rs 3000 per month as this is just like begging to the government This is human rights violation of our rights Government is pushing the youth of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh towards anti national, anti social pathways, Magotra said. He said Chief Minister must come forward to address the genuine demands of Youth to resolve this anti social policy or otherwise debate on the issue where we can make him familiar with the issue as this policy is not a job provider to the youth. YJKL also condemned the role of opposition parties as they remained unconcerned regarding this sensitive issue adding that some of them even don’t understand the deep-rooted causes of the policy as some are busy in making money indirectly working for the Govt. agenda.
