| Dr Cheema delivers guest lecture at GCW Parade | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 13: Career Counseling and Placement Cell of Government College for Women (GCW) Parade organized guest lecture on “Motivational Talk on different Perspective regarding Females”.
Former principal GDC Ramban, Dr Perminder Cheema and at present guest lecturer at University of Australia was the resource person. Dr Cheema dwelt in length about her journey from Jammu to Australia and shared with students the experiences she gained during all these years.
She also talked about the basic difference between the education pattern in India and abroad and apprised the students of the various options that are available in foreign countries and how those education options can make difference in the life of a student.
She told students that in this era of IT the world has become a small networked village where one can gain maximum advantage, but the only criteria is that one needs to have proper guidance and education.
Earlier Principal Dr Kiran Bakshi welcomed the guest speaker and thanked her for sharing the rich experience. She said that this lecture will be very beneficial to students for they will get first hand information of the various educational options available in different parts of the World.
She further said that this lecture is to motivate students and show them the right career path so that they can achieve something in life.
Prof. Parveen Singh Convener Career and counseling cell and Head, Department of computer sciences presented vote of thanks and coordinated the whole program.
